Barnet Brookside Methodist Church

Brookside church is situated at the heart of East Barnet village

Its large set of premises is made up of the church and a number of rooms and halls widely used by the local community.

The church was opened in 1967 and the first stage of a major refurbishment scheme was completed in early 2006 which provided a new entrance, with easier access, a new coffee lounge with a terrace on to the street, and other new rooms and facilities. We are moving on soon to redesigning the spacious worship area.

As well as Sunday services with junior church, there are midweek services, an active Wesley Guild and frequent coffee mornings.

Brookside is part of Barnet Brookside Methodist Church which is also based at Wesley Hall in High Barnet. We also have close links with St Mary's Parish Church in East Barnet - www.stmarys-eastbarnet.org.uk - and with St Mary's C of E Primary School.

Sunday Service:

10.45am with Junior Church (All Age Worship on fourth Sunday of month)

Weekday services:

First Tuesday of month - 8pm Informal Worship

Third Thursday of month - 10.30am Holy Communion

Thursday - 7.30pm joint Holy Communion for Unity at St Mary's Church (weekly)

Regular activities:

Coffee morning on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of month from 10am to 12midday

Wesley Guild - 8pm Wednesdays - October to May.
